An over-the-top and schlocky entry, Saw 3D: The Final Chapter might not be the most intelligent or well-developed, but it delivers in the departments that matter. With Spiral: From the Book of Saw releasing this week, we've decided to tackle the "original" ending of the series with Saw 3D, aka Saw: The Final Chapter or Saw 7 ( WATCH IT HERE – OWN IT HERE). Not only does it boast a talented cast (Chris Rock and Sam Jackson), but we also get the return of director Darren Lynn Bousman from the fan-favorite Saw II.

With the newest attempt to bring the series back to its glory days ( Jigsaw being the first), Spiral: From the Book of Saw looks to be a return to form. It was a game-changer that put the character of Jigsaw up there in the zeitgeist alongside Freddy, Jason, and Pinhead. In 2004, Saw ( WATCH IT HERE – OWN IT HERE) reshaped the genre and brought in an intense and visceral type of horror that hadn't been seen before.
